Meet Sarah Scheiring — Grand Prix Rider, World Cup Finalist, and International Coach.
From Young Jumpers to the World Cup Final in Paris, Sarah Scheiring has carved out a name as one of the most technically gifted riders in American show jumping. With top placings up to the 5* level and decades of international experience, Sarah brings both world-class talent and relentless precision to every horse and rider she works with.
As a coach, Sarah has spent over two decades developing riders from the very beginning of their careers all the way to international success - guiding students to podium finishes at NAYC in both the Young Riders and Junior Championships - most notably a Gold Medal Finish in the Young Riders 1.50 team - as well as placings to 1.55 Grand Prix. Her training program is rooted in classical flatwork, quality horsemanship, and a commitment to building confident, capable partnerships that can perform under pressure.
A career highlight came in 2018, when Sarah and her partner, Dontez represented the U.S. on the global stage at the FEI World Cup Final. Since then, she’s developed a powerhouse string of FEI horses, earned podium finishes in major Grand Prix classes across the country, including a WEF Challenge Cup Win, and built a reputation for producing both top horses and top riders.
Now based at Capital Hill, Sarah joins the team to lead and mentor riders with international aspirations. If you’re serious about stepping into the big rings, Sarah is the coach to take you there.
